I guess you could say this is my submission for the ~Spaceartists thing.
Anyway.
I took *tigaer advice and added color in the light (or whatever its suppose to be)
I used a planet texture from Innocence Lost 4 of 4, I did little updates to it, you can't really tell but I can.
I plan on making it look more like a earth like planet in time.
This is really based off a 311 song, I'll let you figure out which one.

I really don't like this one at all.

The only thing I'm not sure about here is the city lights on the small planet. I don't think it looks good, and I don't understand the whole city lights-phenomenom. Why has it become so immensily popular? And why do they appear at the shadowside in 90% of all planets? I don't think it either look good or is realistic.
